Coastal Engineering Short Course 2025
Ideal for graduate or recently recruited coastal and maritime engineers.

Registrations are now open to attend a Coastal Engineering Short Course run by WRL over the day prior to the 2025 Australasian Coasts & Ports Conference in Adelaide.
The Local Coasts & Ports Organising Committee is pleased to announce that a Coastal Engineering Short Course coordinated by »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Sydney’s Water Research Laboratory and supported by the University of Auckland will be held on the day prior to the . It’s the ideal course for graduate or recently recruited coastal and maritime engineers.
This course will cover the following:
- An overview of coastal engineering fundamentals
- Current practice for coastal structures
- Empirical, numerical and physical modelling
- Practical case studies
Sessions will be run by industry practitioners and experts including staff from »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Sydney’s Water Research Laboratory and the University of Auckland:
