David Goodman-Meza is a Senior Research Associate in the Kirby Institute, ʹڲƱ Sydney since 2024. He is a clinician-scientist with expertise in Infectious Diseases and Substance Use Disorders. He has expertise in using methods from artificial intelligence to identify people who inject drugs and evaluate clinical outcomes in electronic health records, as well as experience in conducting clinical trials. Prior to moving to the Kirby, he was based in the United States receiving several research grants from the U.S. National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
