Dr Milad Ghasrikhouzani
I am a Senior Lecturer in Travel Behaviour and Transport Modelling, specialising in behavioural modelling, discrete choice analysis, and consumer preference research related to transport innovation adoption. My work focuses on understanding how individuals and communities respond to emerging mobility solutions such as autonomous vehicles (AVs), electric vehicles (EVs), and other new forms of transport technology.I’m particularly interested in the role of social influence in facilitating behavioural shifts and accelerating the adoption of innovations in the transport sector. My research explores not just individual decision-making, but also the broader social and systemic factors that shape travel behaviour in a rapidly evolving mobility landscape. My work has been supported by both government and industry partners, including the National Housing Research Program through the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI), the ACT Government, the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.
