  • We work with , a licensed financial services company, to provide a secure, all-in-one digital investment process that seamlessly integrates withAustralian regulatory, accounting and tax requirements.

    • Investor portal allows you to track investments, view their performance, and action outstanding management tasks.
    • Easily manage legal, tax reporting (ATO, CRS, FATCA), financial services licensing, and insurance in one place.

    • There is an initial setup fee of 2% of your investment amount to cover the administrative costs of GXE.

  • Investor registrations are managed by ʹڲƱ’s licensed platform manager, GXE. In general, participation in investment opportunities offered through Barker Street Ventures is for individuals and entities who qualify as:

    • Sophisticated investors or wholesale clientsunder the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). In accordance with section 708(8) and section 761G(7) of the Act, may register.
    • Investors must supply a current issued by a qualified accountant.

  • Companies on the Barker Street Ventures platform may not provide prospectuses, product disclosure statements or other disclosure documents where there is an exemption available under the Corporations Act.

  • The Barker Street Ventures platform is managed independently from ʹڲƱ by. In general terms, onboarding takes less than half an hour to complete and requires the following steps:

    1. You will receive an invitation to Barker Street Ventures to join our investment network.
    2. Register by verifying your identity.
    3. Upload your current.
    4. GXE will confirm your registration.
    5. Access investment offers and start investing.

  • Investor registrations are managed by ʹڲƱ’s licensed platform manager, GXE. ʹڲƱ does not and cannot make any recommendation in relation to using the platform or investing in any entity. In general, participation in investment opportunities offered through Barker Street Ventures is for individuals and entities who qualify as “Wholesale Clients” under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). In accordance with section 708(8) and section 761G(7) of the Act, investors who meet the criteria for high net worth (HNW) investors or sophisticated investors may register.

  • is a fully licensed digital investment platform that allows us to digitise, automate and streamline the investment process for both investors and companies. Once you register, you get access to the companies featured on the platform. When you become an investor, you will have your dedicated private dashboard with all your investments listed in a single, easy-to-manage place.

  • The Barker Street Ventures platform is managed by GXE, who is required to maintain robust cyber security measures. Your data is only accessible by you, and no third party will be able to see any of your data beyond the securities licensed holder.
    • Access to VC-backed deep tech that is not otherwise available to public investors.
    • No ongoing management fees so you can maximise investment returns.
    • A preview of the future: purpose driven companies working to achieve paradigm shift in their field.

  • The Barker Street Ventures platform is managed by ʹڲƱ's licensed partner, GXE. In general terms, onboarding is likely to happen as follows:

    1. You will receive an invitation to Barker Street Ventures to join our investment network.
    2. Register by verifying your identity and uploading your valid.
    3. Access investment offers and start investing.

  • Companies have to meet the following minimum requirements:

    • Actively raising capital.
    • Have a professional lead investor investing on the same terms as the offer.
    • • ʹڲƱ is, or will become, a shareholder in the company’s current capital raising round.

    Companies interested in participating should contact ʹڲƱ’s New Ventures Team - barkerstreetventures@unsw.edu.au.
    • There is an initial startup fee of 2% of your investment amount to cover the administrative costs of GXE.
    • There are no ongoing management fees payable.
    • ʹڲƱ will have 20% share in the profits (ie including investor returns) on exit.

  • The Barker Street Ventures platform is fully automated and provides easy registration, so long as you have all required documents available. Most users are approved and investing within a couple of hours.

  • Details of the investment offers are determined by the companies, and therefore minimum and maximum investment amounts may vary significantly.
