Submitting samplesÌýfor all genomic analysis (exceptÌýSanger sequencing) follows an easyÌý6 step process:
- Obtain a quote.Ìý
- Check that you have enough sample for the requested analysis.Ìý
- Accept ourÌýquote.
- Submit your order online.
- Prepare your samples.
- Pack your samples and ship them to us.

Obtain a quote
- Ìýyour project details i.e. sample number, species, sequencing depth, analysis typeÌýetc.Ìý
- If you are unsure please provide as much informationÌýas you can and we will take it from there.Ìý
- If you are sending samples from overseas please provide detailedÌýinformation on the sample so that we can assess quarantine status.
Step 2
Check that you have enough sample
- Refer to your quote for theÌýamount, concentration and volume required for the service.
- CheckÌýthat your samples meet theÌýsample submission requirements outlined in your quote.Ìý
- Refer to your quote for specific submission instructions e.g. resuspension buffer, plate layout etc.Ìý
- Issues with quantity or quality? PleaseÌýcontact usÌýfor advice.
Step 3
Accept our quote
- Email usÌýa copy of your Purchase Order (PO). PO's should be raised to »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ (ABNÌý57 195 873 179).Ìý

- Please ensure you ship your samples to us within 30 days of accepting our quote.
Step 4
Submit your order online

- To avoid upload errors download a new copy of the submission form each time you submit.
- Please ensure that you select the correct submission form for the service you require.Ìý
- By completing an online submission you are agreeing to ourÌýstandard service terms.
Step 5

- Ensure you refer to your quote for specific submission instructions.Ìý
- Label tubes/plates with the unique ID issued during online submission (step 4 above).
- Plates must also be labelled with the container name e.g. plate 1, 2, 3.Ìý
- Projects with less than 10 samples can be submitted in 1.5 ml tubes.
- Do notÌýuse screw cap or strip tubes, or seal tubes with parafilm, foil or tape.Ìý
- Projects with 10 or more samplesÌýmustÌýbe submitted in 96-well PCR plates (clear wells, semi or fully skirted), unless otherwise specified.
- Make sure that plates are well sealed,Ìýread our helpful plate sealing guide.
- If the project requires multiple runs/plates, randomise your samples.
- We can accept dried samples, just remember to tell us on the submission form what volume to resuspend them in.
Step 6
Packing and shipping
- Our recommended couriers areÌýÌýandÌý.Ìý
- Place tubes/plates in a plastic bag and wrap in bubble wrap.Ìý
