Critical Infrastructure upgrades
Strengthening campus resilience through critical infrastructure upgrades
»Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ’s Critical Infrastructure Services program conducted an audit of existing IT and power infrastructure across priority buildings on campus. As a result, four high-priority facilities – Lowy (C25), Wallace Wurth (C27), Samuels (F25) and Tyree (H6) – were identified for urgent backup power upgrades, including the installation of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
Funded by »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ IT and delivered by the Estate Improvement Program, the project involved several full building shutdowns. Effective planning and close coordination with building users were essential due to the operational sensitivity of these sites, which support essential services and research.Â
