Your safety & wellbeing is our priority

We are aware of recent assaults in the local area, including incidents involving »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ students. The assaults are understandably causing distress and worry for many of you. This behaviour has no place at »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ, and every member of our community deserves the right to feel safe from all forms of harm.

Campus Security is in regular contact with NSW Police, including their Cultural Liaison Team, coordinating increased patrols around the Kensington campus. We are receiving regular briefings to monitor the situation and working together to ensure the wellbeing and safety of the community.

We are also aware of an upcoming peaceful protest planned in Hyde Park, and we fully respect the right to gather in solidarity with the community and against violence.

Most importantly, support is available to you whenever you need it. If you ever feel physically unsafe when on campus, please use the SafeZone app to alert security – »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ is here for you.

The Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) at »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ has developed free Microcredentials that give you a quick introduction to renewable fuels, critical minerals and patents for net-zero.

These online short courses are bite-sized and perfect for upskilling yourself in sustainable problem-solving approaches that you can apply across a range of industries.

Once you complete a course, you’ll receive a digital »Ê¹Ú²ÊƱ Credly badge that you can share on LinkedIn to showcase to your peers and potential employers.

Sessions run from 22 July 2025 up until the Term 3 2026 exchange application deadline on 18 September 2025.

Studying overseas, whether in person or virtually, is a great way to gain international experience and develop skills like adaptability, problem solving and cross-cultural communication. Our online drop-in sessions connect you with Exchange Advisors for real-time support and guidance to help you get started.
